BitComet 0.98

From slow beginnings, BitComet has risen to become one of the most popular torrent client downloads on E-FreshWare.Com. For users accustomed to the often sparse interfaces of torrent apps, BitComet surprises with its flashy icons and multitude of options that give you more control over your downloads. For those that want a no-fuss client, the extra features may simply get in the way.

Once a torrent is selected for download with BitComet, a dialog pops up allowing you to determine the location to save to and select exactly which files in the torrent you want. Once downloading, the regular stop, pause, cancel, update etc options are all available plus a handy "remove torrent & all files" option which removes all trace of an unwanted torrent from your PC. Many users report the download rates are good although note no particular difference with other client speeds. The best feature however is a 'preview media' option, which forces the torrent to download sequentially instead of randomly thus allowing you to preview any multimedia downloads. It's a great way to avoid broken links, but, on the downside, it will slow down your download considerably.
Another interesting feature is the 'intelligent disk cache' which really comes into its own on high speed connections. If you are lucky enough to get download transfer rates of 500 kb/s or higher, activating it allows BitComet to cache the data to access the disk less frequently. The result of this is that it doesn't slow down your PC as receiving large amounts of data can sometimes do.

Forum reports from foreign users suggest that the program has not been translated properly from English, yet this doesn't affect the capacities of BitComet. The other downside is that the uninstall procedure is not particularly clean. The application directory remains as does the registry entry although you can remove the former manually and the latter with any good registry cleaner.

There are simpler clients out there, such as uTorrent uTorrent and Azureus that offer the same download rates but with less fuss. If you have a particularly fast connection, can't wait for your files to download before watching them and enjoy a torrent client with lots of whistles and bells, BitComet might be for you.

Shiki Video Downloader 1.0.0.49

Image

There's a huge trend at the moment for programs and applications that bring together content from several sites to save you the hassle of visiting them all.

That's exactly what Shiki Video Downloader attempts to do bringing together content from sites such as YouTube, DailyMotion, GoogleVideo and Metacafe. From the search results, you can then watch the videos directly on your desktop in the Shiki Player rather than, as the developers say, "a webpage full of annoying banners". However, it doesn't stop there. It also converts files into the format of your choice so for example, you can take your clips with you on the move. The number of formats you can convert to is rather limited but currently includes .mp4, .wmv, .avi, .mp3 and .aac. It also has special settings for those that want to convert content to work on iPod, Zune and iPhone.

Image
The program interface looks very slick in black and it is nice just being able to search from such a huge amount of content. However, you'll find that search results are returned much slower than going directly to any of the video sites themselves.

Lian Li HDD launches EX-H34 HDD rack to support 4x 3.5” HDD

Image
Lian-Li is launching the EX-H34 HDD rack to support 4x 3.5” HDD’s in an all aluminum frame and housing. The HDD rack has a front loading door, with individual handles on a bracket for each HDD, as well as a back panel PCB designed to accept most modern SATA HDD configurations in a Hot Swap Plug & Play configuration supporting RAID 0, 1 and 0+1, depending on your motherboard configuration. To keep the device cool there is a 120mm fan (1500RPM) with a washable nylon filter keeping dust and debris out.

The HDD rack takes up the equivalent of 3x 5.25 bays, and can be installed into the front 5.25” panels of most modern chassis. This is ideal for those cases with rows of 5.25” bays, but with very little HDD space.

The cage is lockable and complements Lian Li style with the hair-line brushed anodized aluminum in a black finish, combined with finely filed edges, and hand crafted tooling to prevent jagged edges, lending both safety and elegance to this neat HDD cluster rack.

Mounting HDD’s is very convenient, with each handle mounted using screws, which act as guiding wheels as the hot swap HDD device is inserted onto the back panel securely. For more information about Lian Li and Lian Li products please goto the lian li website: www.lian-li.com.

Lian Li is also introducing the new BS-08, a fan ducting system designed to prevent heat buildup within your case around the graphics card area. The two 120mm fans within the aluminum shroud duct suck the hot air from around your VGA components and expel it out the PCI mounting bracket. The BS-08 takes up 2 PCI slots and installs as if mounting a PCI card, while taking up two PCI bays in the process. The double 120mm fan duct effectively expels hot air before it can be redistributed within the case. The aluminum housing retains the customary quality and craftsmanship adhered to by Lian Li.

Gigabyte 9800GT 512MB Graphic Card

Image
NVIDIA has been releasing new high-end video cards nearly every six months for nearly 10 years now. The first video card on this release schedule was the Riva 128 card from 1997. This was followed by several generations of video cards including the GeForce FX, the GeForce 6800 Ultra. The latest high-end card from NVIDIA is the GeForce GTX 280 which much has been written about. But as was noted in the HD 4650 review, most sales are in the under $100 price range and not in the $300 range that the HD 4870 or GeForce GTX 260 would require. NVIDIA and ATI have released new cards for the under $200 price point, the GeForce 9800GT and the HD 4850 respectively. The Gigabyte 9800GT 512MB is the card on the review slate today.

The Gigabyte 9800GT has a core clock speed of 600MHz, which gives a pixel fill rate of 9.6 Gigapixels/second and a texture fill rate of 38.4 Gigatexels/second. 9800GT has a 256-bit memory interface, meaning that the Gigabyte 9800GT which has a memory clock speed of 900MHz/1.8GHz effective has a memory bandwidth of 57.6GB/second.

The 9800GT supports all of the DirectX 10.0 features found on modern games like Age of Conan, STALKER Clear Skies, and other games that have been released. The key features of DirectX 10 include unified shaders, Geometry Shaders, Texture arrays, Geometry instancing and more. The 9800GT has support for up to 4x MSAA and 16x AF in a single clock with 8x MSAA and 16x AF available in a single pass of two clock cycles.

The HD 4670 is a single slot card, PCIE 2.0, with 1024MB of DDR3 memory and a clock speed of 750 MHz. The memory speed is 900 MHz, designed with 320 stream processors.

The HD 4670 provides plug-and-play ATI CrossFireX™ upgradeability with up to quad-GPU support. Making it fast and efficient is ATI’s Power Play and 55nm processing technology.

The Radeon HD 4000 series of GPUs delivers their superlative visual performance with a powerful new TeraScale engine that delivers high resolutions and fast frame rates. Unified Video Decoder 2 frees up the CPU for other tasks, especially the most processing-intensive content, including VC-1, H.264 and now MPEG-2. Take full advantage of Blu-ray functionality with dual-stream, picture in picture (PIP) capabilities. The ATI Radeon HD 4600 Series GPUs can upscale video display to 2560x1600 on dual-link monitors, which is almost twice the display resolution of 1080p displays. As with their predecessors, the Radeon 4000 series provides graphics support for the latest Microsoft® DirectX® 10.1 games and realistic 3D graphics and shading effects.

All Diamond video cards carry the Diamond guarantee of quality assurance. Unlike many cards that are simply first to market, Diamond carefully tests and retests every new model for its ratio of performance to reliability. Diamond is legendary in the PC video card business for its less than 1 percent return rate versus an industry average of approximately 10 percent. Diamond cards use superior connectors, cables and components, as well as undergo more thorough testing for heat susceptibility and durability.

This year has been the year of the launch and relaunch in the video card market. No sooner than one company brings in a new product, there is something to counter, be it on price or performance. This constantly changing technology, update or just rebranding has the effect of making more cards available at many more performance levels and price points than I have ever seen. ATI started the year with the 3 series and dropped a bomb with the release of the HD48xx series of cards. The G92 series were the top of the heap in the beginning of the year and by April the 9 series arrived with the 9600GT the 9800GTX to replace the 8800GTX and the 9800GX2, which is still a strong performer. The 9800GTX+ was brought into existence to offer direct competition to the HD4850 from ATI. The XFX 9800GTX+ features a die shrink to 55nm and increases in both the Shader and GPU core clock speeds to push the performance to the level of the competition. Not much else has changed from the initial release of the 9800GTX. Will the 9800GTX+ from XFX and Nvidia be able to compete in the price and performance arena that ATI is enjoying success in this year? Let's take a look and see.

ASUS M3N78 Pro Nvidia GeForce 8300 Motherboard

Image

Integrated graphics on the motherboard are a bit of a joke on the Intel side of things with the NVIDIA GeForce 7050 and Intel G45 being the king of the hill on that side of the fence. Both have issues in that the GeForce 7050 is DirectX 9.0c only and the Intel chipset has issues with numerous games and performance isn’t the greatest.

The AMD side of the integrated graphics battle is a lot better with solutions from both NVIDIA and ATI that support DirectX 10.0 and performance that while not the same class as the latest graphics cards from either company, do the job. NVIDIA launched the GeForce 8300 motherboard chipset in July and it supports DirectX 10 natively. Today the motherboard on the test bench is the ASUS M3N78 Pro which is based upon the GeForce 8300 motherboard chipset.

Making Windows Xp Start 60% Faster, tutorial...

Whenever you start your computer, you are faced with a few moments of thumb twiddling while Windows XP boots and prompts you to log on. Although you should expect to wait for a few moments, sometimes Windows XP seems to boot rather slowly. In fact, you may notice that over a period of time the PC that used to roar to life seems a bit sluggish instead. Fortunately, you can perform several techniques that help Windows XP get the bootup speed you want. This chapter explores how to put these techniques to work.

Stopping Unneeded Startup Services

Along with the core operating system and programs that Windows XP runs when it starts, there is also a host of services involved. Many of these services are necessary for Windows XP to operate correctly. However, many of them are for features in Windows XP that you may not use at all. You can peruse the services and disable any service that you do not want to run. The fewer services that run, the more quickly Windows XP will boot.

Caution:
Exercise caution when stopping services. If you do not know what a service does or are unsure of the ramifications of stopping the service, leave it alone. Some services are critical to Windows XP's operations, so make sure you understand what the service is before you disable it.

To reduce the number of services that start on bootup, you can access two different areas of Windows XP. The first is the System Configuration Utility. The Services tab shows you the services that start when the computer boots.

You can stop a service from starting by simply clearing the check box next to the service and clicking OK. However, before you do so, there is another way to disable services that you may prefer because the interface gives you more information about the service in question.

Open Control Panel/Administrative ToolsServices or else select Start/Run, type services.msc, and click OK. Either way, you see the Services console.

I prefer to use the Services console instead of the System Configuration Utility because it describes what the service does. Additionally, you can double-click a service and examine its properties.

Notice the Startup Type column in Figure 4-2. This information lists whether the service is automatic or manual. Manual services are only started in Windows XP when you start a process that requires the service. Some other process may require the service that has a "dependency" relationship with it; in this case, the dependency service will start, as well. Because these services do not start automatically when you boot Windows XP, you do not need to do anything with manual services.

However, all services listed as automatic start when Windows XP boots. These are the services that increase boot time. As I have mentioned, many of them are necessary and important, so you should not stop automatic services from booting unless you are sure of the ramifications. You can get this information by looking at the Description column. Here's a quick look at common services you may want to live without:

Automatic Updates: This service enables Windows XP to check the Web automatically for updates. If you don't want to use Automatic Updates, you can disable the service. You can always check for updates manually at the Windows Update Web site.

Computer Browser: If your computer is not on a network, you don't need this service. If you are on a network, leave it alone.

DHCP Client: If you are not on a network, you do not need this service. If you are on a small workgroup, you can still increase boot time by configuring manual IP addresses (which I explore later in this chapter).

DNS Client: If you are not on a network, you do not need this service. If you are, leave it alone.

Error Reporting and Event Log: You don't have to use these services but they can be very helpful, so I would leave them configured as automatic.

Fax: If you don't use your computer for fax services, you can disable this one.

Help and Support: If you never use the Windows XP Help and Support Center (found on the Start menu), you can disable this service.

IMAPI CD-Burning COM: This service enables you to burn CDs on your computer. If you never burn CDs, you can disable the service.

Indexing Service: Your computer keeps an index of files but if you rarely search for files, the service is just a resource hog. You can stop it and turn the service to manual.

Windows Firewall/Internet Connection Sharing: If you do not use these features, you can disable them.

Infrared Monitor: If you do not use infrared devices, you can disable this service.

Messenger: This service sends alert messages on a local area network (it is not the same as Windows Messenger). If you are not on a network, you can disable this service.

Print Spooler: If you do not do any printing from the computer, you can disable this service. If you print, make sure you leave it as automatic.

Remote Registry: This service allows remote users to modify the Registry on your computer. If you are not on a network, you can disable this service.

System Restore Service: This service allows you to use System Restore. If you have turned off System Restore anyway, you do not need to turn off the service. If you do, you turn off System Restore.

Themes: If you do not use themes, you can disable this service.

Windows Image Acquisition: If you do not use scanners or digital cameras, you can disable this service.

Wireless Zero Configuration: If do not use wireless networking devices, you can disable this service.

You may have a number of other automatic services, depending on software and other configurations on your computer. So it's a good idea to look through the services and learn more about them. If you double-click a service, a Properties dialog box appears

Notice that on the General tab, you see a Startup Type drop-down menu. If you want to change an automatic service to manual, select Manual here and click OK. As a general rule, don't disable a service unless you are sure you will never use it. However, manual configuration allows the service to be started when you find it necessary, thus speeding up your boot time.

However, before you change a service to manual, look at the Dependencies tab (see Figure 4-4). This tab shows you which other services depend upon the service you are considering changing.

Keep in mind that services are necessary for the vast functionality you get with Windows XP. Change only those services that you understand and do not use. How you use your Windows XP computer should be the best guide in terms of optional startup services.

5 Ways to Backup Your Data - 5 way to Backup your data

5 Ways to Backup Your Data - 5 way to Backup your data
Page 2
The data on your hard drive is the most critical item inside your computer, and the only item which can not be replaced. It may be an unwanted hassle and expense to replace a defective memory module, monitor, or prosesor, but there is no replacing data once lost.
In addition to the possibility of a simple hard drive failure, the threat of internet borne worms and viruses has become an increasing risk to data loss or corruption. Although you may not be able to provide absolute protection to your hard drive, there are various ways that you can ensure that the data on your hard drive is protected. Five methods of backing up your data are summarized below…

1. USB Flash Drives

Although I am not recommending that flash drives be used for the actual data storage, they are a convenient means of transferring data from one computer to another. Important files can be quickly loaded onto a device such as the MINIDISK-512-DGRY-CS USB 2.0 Flash Drive, and transported to another computer for safe keeping. Installation and operation is extremely simple, and other than perhaps having to install a software driver, the use of a USB flash drive is a matter of having an available USB port on your computer. Just about every computer produced over the last several years has USB ports included, with more modern systems supporting the USB 2.0 standard. USB 2.0 allows for data transfer rates of up to 480 MB/s, which is a tremendous improvement over the original USB speed limit of 12 MB/s, and allows a user to fill their drives with data in a relatively short period of time.

Although the storage capacity of flash drives has increased greatly over the last year or so, users are still limited to common sizes of 512MB and 1GB. Mass storage is obviously not an option, but even 512MB may be enough to backup your “My Documents” folder, several albums of MP3s, or other important files to be stored elsewhere.

2. CD and DVD Writers/Re-Writers

The falling prices of CD and DVD writers/re-writers have made them a staple of just about every modern computer. These devices can typically be found installed in a computer case, but external devices supporting USB 2.0 or Firewire are available for greater flexibility and ease of installation.

A combination drive, such as the NU Technology DBW-521, will provide the user a high speed CD reader/writer, as well as a DVD reader, for under $40. The extremely low price of the drive (and the blank media) makes for an inexpensive means of creating data backups, and the re-writable media increases the convenience by allowing the same disc to be erased and reused many times. The main limitation of using a CD writer for data backups is that the discs are generally limited to a capacity of 700MB per disc. Not nearly enough for a full backup, but adequate for archiving key files.

The popularity of DVD writers/re-writers has surged thanks to dropping prices, and they are pushing the stand alone CD burner towards extinction. DVD media affords the user far more storage capacity than a CD, and DVD burners can generally burn CDs as wells as DVDs. The recent availability of double layer DVD burners, such as the Sony DW-D22A-DO-N, represents a large boost in the capacity of writable DVDs, taking the previous limit of 4.7GB per disc and nearly doubling it to 8.5GB.

With proper storage, CD/DVD media can provide long term storage that can not be jeopardized by hardware failure. The data on a CD or DVD can easily be read by just about any computer, making it a good choice for archiving files that aren’t excessively large.

14 Tips For Computer Optimization

Since you work and do a lot of browsing on the Internet, the first thing you need to learn is computer optimization techniques. It is much better that you take a little extra effort to look after your computer regularly, rather than have it freeze, lock up, or crash when you lose everything on it, at which time you'll have to pay out a lot to have it fixed. Not to mention you have now lost all of the information, or data, you were working on. Follow these computer optimization tips and you will be much safer.

  1. Set your anti-virus software checker to update itself automatically. This way, it is always updated with the latest protection.
  2. Perform a scan of your computer daily when you finish working on it.
  3. If you download any files through email or just from browsing the internet, scan this item before you open it with your anti-virus software.
  4. Use your registry repair software to scan your computer once a week.
  5. Use your adware/spyware software once a week. You can set this up to run automatically, which will help you keep this updated.
  6. Never open any attachments in emails from people you do not know. Especially if the file is a .exe file. This is an executable file, and can launch all sorts of viruses.
  7. Do not open any attachments even from people you do know, if you are not expecting anything from them.
  8. If you do not have a anti-virus software installed, a virus could replicate itself to everyone on the address book and send itself out by email, without the owner even knowing this has been done. This is what happens when your computer is hijacked.
  9. Do not download free music on the Internet - these free sites are always infected. If you do, run a virus scan, as well as your registry repair, and even the anti-spyware software.
  10. As with the above statement, do not download any free games from the Internet.
  11. Steer clear from adult sites, as they are particularly prone to viruses.
  12. You can install software which will back up all your data on a daily basis. Use flash drives, memory sticks, and even DVD’s etc.
  13. Even though you get statements and fill forms out electronically, print out contracts, payment forms, agreements and all legal documents and file them away in a ring-binder.
  14. Be extremely careful if you do anything with your finances, payment details, payment processor passwords, credit card details, etc. on your computer. A hacker could easily access all these details, if they are anywhere on your computer.
If you can follow the 14 tips for computer optimization listed above, you will be better off than probably 99% of the population. Just by using your anti-virus software, your anti-spyware software, and your registry repair software, you can keep your computer running at optimal speed, and keep the errors and problems to a minimum.

Top 5 Tips For Protecting Your Computer

Do you ever feel like you know just enough about PC Security to be dangerous? Let's see if we can fill in some of the gaps with the latest info from PC Security experts.

Today, more and more people are using their computers for everything from communication to online banking and investing, to internet shopping.

As we do these things on a more regular basis, we unknowingly open ourselves up to a multitude of online threats to our PC’s security. These include but are not limited to potential hackers, attackers and crackers. In addition there are pieces of software, malware, adware and scripts containing Trojans and other such virus like nasties that are all intent on soliciting some form of information about us which may already be contained in personal files on our PC systems.
  1. Get a Router. If your broadband connection is through some form of modem (normally USB or cable) supplied to you by your ISP (Internet Service Provider), make sure you attach this to a Router and then attach that Router to your PC. Many people just attach the modem to their PC and then rely on Anti-Virus software to protect them. This is simply not enough nowadays, and they will surely have a problem somewhere down the line.
  2. Make regular Backups of your data and important information and keep it in a safe place that is separate from your computer. Nowadays there are a lot of different ways to achieve this, especially with the advent of DVD writers and low cost hard disks which enable a lot of data to be backed up and stored “offline”.For backup process see 5 Ways to Backup Your Data.
  3. Keep your operating system, web browser and software updated frequently. If you have a Windows operating system, start by going to http://www.windowsupdate.microsoft.com and running the update wizard. This program will help you find the latest patches for your Windows computer. Also go to http://www.officeupdate.microsoft.com and locate possible patches for your Office programs. If you have Windows XP service pack2 installed (and it is recommended that you do, because it contains inbuilt security fixes) you can use the Security Center from the Control Panel to turn “Automatic Updates” on. This will keep your system updated with all the latest patches and fixes that Microsoft releases.
  4. Make sure you install a firewall. Without a good firewall, viruses, worms, Trojans, malware and adware can all easily access your computer from the Internet. Consideration should be given to the benefits and differences between hardware and software based firewall programs. Of course, if you use a router (which is recommended) this will already have a firewall built into it, and this can work in addition to any software firewall you choose to install on your PC.
  5. Check your internet browser and email client settings for optimum security. Why should you do this? Active-X and JavaScript are often used by hackers to plant malicious programs into your computers. While cookies are relatively harmless in terms of security concerns, they do still track your movements on the Internet to build a profile of you. At a minimum set your security setting for the “Internet zone” to High, and your “trusted sites zone” to Medium Low.
I hope that reading the above information was both enjoyable and educational for you. Your learning process should be ongoing--the more you understand about any subject, the more you will be able to share with others.(David Grahams (resellrightsoffers.com)

5 Critical Steps to Protect Your Computer on the Internet

If you are connected to the internet, you need to make sure you get your computer set up properly if you want to avoid problems down the road.

With all the viruses, spyware and other threats on the internet today, no computer should be set up without the proper protection.

And that protection needs to be in place as soon after you hook up your new machine as possible.

The following five steps will make your computer a much harder target for threats. You still won't be completely immune to problems, but 99% of the time the threat will pass you by, looking for the easy mark.

1. Running a Personal Firewall

A personal firewall is software that basically makes your computer invisible to hackers, worms and other threats that can infect your computer over the internet.

Setting up a firewall is the absolute first thing you should do if you're going to connect to the internet. Without a firewall, your computer could get infected in as little as one minute after connecting.

If you have a brand new computer running Windows XP Service Pack 2, there is a firewall built into Windows. It will already have been turned on when you first set up your computer.

If you're running an older version of Windows, even an earlier version of Windows XP, there is no firewall automatically set up for you. In this case there are two possibilities:

- Your computer came pre-loaded with a firewall such as Norton Internet Security or McAfee Internet Security
- You have no firewall installed and should download one ASAP.

If you don't have any personal firewall software installed, you should do so right away. Zone Alarm is a very good firewall program that has a version that you can download and install for free.

You can download the free version of Zone Alarm from http://www.computer-help-squad.com/zonealarm

2. Turn on Windows Updates

Again, if you're running Windows XP Service Pack 2 this is already set up, but otherwise you should turn on Windows Updates. Microsoft releases updates for security problems and other bugs in Windows on a regular basis.

These updates will keep your computer running better, and they often fix security issues that could compromise your information or privacy.

If you are running Windows XP Service Pack 2, you can double-check that automatic updates are turned on by clicking Start, then click Control Panel, then double-click Security Center. The window that opens will tell you if automatic updates are turned on, and lets you turn them on if they're not.

To turn on automatic updates in earlier versions of Windows XP, click on the Start menu, click Control Panel and then double-click on System. On the "Automatic Updates" tab, click the option to "Automatically download the updates and install them on the schedule I specify."

To turn them on in Windows 2000, click on Start, click Control Panel and then double-click on Automatic Updates. Again, click the option to "automatically download the updates and install them on the schedule I specify."

Now when Microsoft releases updates, they will be downloaded for you automatically and Windows will tell you when they are ready to be installed.

3. Install & Update Antivirus Software

Most new computers come with antivirus software these days. You might have Norton, McAfee, PC-Cillin or another brand. No matter what program you have, you will need to update it when you get connected to the internet.

It doesn't matter how new your computer is - there will be new viruses, and new updates for the antivirus software, since it was loaded.

The exact process is different for each brand of antivirus program, but most of them will have an icon in the bottom right corner of your desktop, beside the time. The icon might be a picture of a shield (McAfee), a stethoscope (Norton) or something else.

In most cases, if you point to the icon for your antivirus and click the right mouse button, a menu will pop up with an update option. It could be simply called update or could be something like Live Update or Download Latest Updates. If you click on the update option (with the left button this time) it will install the newest updates for you.

If you're not sure which icon is for your antivirus software, just point to each one for a few seconds and a little title should pop up telling you what it is.

4. Install Anti-Spyware Software

Spyware - and other things known as adware and malware - is becoming as big a problem as viruses. Spyware programs can cause a lot of problems with your computer, not to mention they can track your personal information and you never know where it's being sent.

Some new computers might includes antispyware software, but most of them don't yet. There are quite a few anti-spyware programs available, some free and some not. The one I recommend is from Microsoft and is one of the free ones.

One of the reasons I like it is because it always runs in the background and will automatically catch a lot of spyware before it gets on your computer.

Many of the other programs don't catch it until you run a scan. Not only does this allow things to get on your computer, it also means you have to actually remember to run a scan.

You can download the free Microsoft Antispyware from http://www.computer-help-squad.com/antispyware

5. Set up a Free Email Account

This last item is not as critical as the first four, but I would highly recommend you set up an email account with one of the free services like Hotmail or Gmail.

Once you're on the internet, you'll find a lot of useful information that you want that requires you to provide an email address. In some cases, these people will end up sending you a bunch of spam.

If you use a free email account to sign up for anything that you don't know for sure you can trust, it's not going to fill your main email with a bunch of junk.

This goes for anything really, not just online information. If you're entering a contest or signing up for anything offline and you don't know where your information could end up being used, I would suggest using your free email address.

If worse comes to worse, and your free email address gets inundated with spam, you can always just set up a new one and let the old one expire.

Some of the better free email services are www.hotmail.com, www.gmail.com and www.yahoomail.com.

If you've had your computer for a while and never done any of these things, you should still take these steps to get it set up properly. It will definitely save you a lot of time - and possibly money - as you use your system.

10 Tips to SPEED Up Your PC

Here 10 tips to speed up your pc from slowing down :

  1. Let your PC boot up completely before opening any applications.
  2. Refresh the desktop after closing any application.
This will remove any unused files from the RAM.
  3. Do not set very large file size images as your wallpaper.
Do not keep a wallpaper at all if your PC is low on RAM (less than 64 MB).
  4. Do not clutter your Desktop with a lot of shortcuts.
Each shortcut on the desktop uses up to 500 bytes of RAM
  5. Empty the recycle bin regularly.
The files are not really deleted from your hard drive until you empty the recycle bin.
  6. Delete the temporary internet files regularly.
  7. Defragment your hard drive once every two months.
This will free up a lot of space on your hard drive and rearrange the files so that your applications run faster.
  8. Always make two partitions in your hard drive.
Install all large Softwares (like PSP, Photoshop, 3DS Max etc) in the second partition. Windows uses all the available empty space in C drive as virtual memory when your Computer RAM is full. Keep the C Drive as empty as possible.
  9. When installing new Softwares disable the option of having a tray icon.
The tray icons use up available RAM, and also slow down the booting of your PC. Also disable the option of starting the application automatically when the PC boots. You can disable these options later on also from the Tools or preferences menu in your application.
  10. Protect your PC from dust. Dust causes the CPU cooling fan to jam and slow down thereby gradually heating your CPU and affecting the processing speed. Use compressed air to blow out any dust from the CPU. Never use vacuum.

RAM is the working area (Desktop) of the CPU, Keep it as empty and uncluttered as possible!

Bluetooth Basics - Bluetooth Technology Tutorial

At this point the popularity of Bluetooth might not be as large as some proponents would have hoped, but many devices are available for those interested. The cost and competition from other standards have hindered the widespread acceptance, but Bluetooth does offer a viable solution to many devices that might not have wireless connectivity without it.

Bluetooth Basics

Bluetooth technology is nothing new, but in many respects it still seems to be more of a buzz word rather than a well understood, commonly accepted technology. You see advertisements for Bluetooth enabled cell phones, PDAs, and laptops, and a search of the Geeks.com website shows all sorts of different devices taking advantage of this wireless standard. But, what is it?

History

Before getting into the technology, the word Bluetooth is intriguing all on its own, and deserves a look. The term is far less high tech than you might imagine, and finds its roots in European history. The King of Denmark from 940 to 981 was renowned for his ability to help people communicate, his name (in English)... Harald Bluetooth. Perhaps a bit obscure, but the reference is appropriate for a wireless communications standard.

Another item worth investigating is the Bluetooth logo. Based on characters from the runic alphabet (used in ancient Denmark), it was chosen as it appears to be the combination of the English letter B and an asterisk.

Capabilities

The FAQ on the Bluetooth.org (https://www.bluetooth.org/) website offers a basic definition: "Bluetooth wireless technology is a worldwide specification for a small-form factor, low-cost radio solution that provides links between mobile computers, mobile phones, other portable handheld devices, and connectivity to the Internet."

Just like 802.11 b/g wireless networking systems and many cordless telephones, Bluetooth devices operate on 2.4 GHz radio signals. That band seems to be getting a bit crowded, and interference between devices may be difficult to avoid. Telephones are now being offered on the 5.8 GHz band to help remedy this, and Bluetooth has taken its own steps to reduce interference and improve transmission quality. Version 1.1 of the Bluetooth standard greatly reduces interference issues, but requires completely different hardware from the original 1.0C standard, thus eliminating any chance of backwards compatibility.

The typical specifications of Bluetooth indicate a maximum transfer rate of 723 kbps and a range of 20-100 meters (65 to 328 feet - depending on the class of the device). This speed is a fraction of that offered by 802.11 b or g wireless standards, so it is obvious that Bluetooth doesn’t pose a threat to replace your wireless network. Although it is very similar to 802.11 in many ways, Bluetooth was never intended to be a networking standard, but does have many practical applications.

Practical Applications

There are a variety of products that take advantage of Bluetooth’s capabilities, from laptops and PDAs, to headphones and input devices, and even wireless printer adapters.

Many Laptops include an onboard Bluetooth adaptor to allow the system to connect to any Bluetooth device right out of the box. For laptop or desktop systems that do not have an adaptor built in, there are many USB Bluetooth adaptors available.

Bluetooth enabled PDAs allow for convenient wireless synchronization and data transfer.

Headphones can take advantage of Bluetooth for two purposes… audio playback and mobile phone communications. Using something a mobile headset with a Bluetooth enabled mobile phone allows anyone to go hands free, as well as wire free.

Logitech, and other manufacturers, also produce input devices that eliminate wires thanks to Bluetooth. You can add a Bluetooth mouse to your system, or both a mouse and keyboard. One advantage that Bluetooth wireless keyboard/mouse combinations have over the standard RF wireless keyboard/mouse combinations is range. Where most standard RF keyboard/mouse combinations have a range up to 6 feet; a Bluetooth keyboard/mouse combination will usually have a range of up to 30 feet.

Bluetooth printer adaptors make sharing a printer extremely convenient by eliminating the need for any wires or special configurations on a typical network. Printing to any compatible HP printer from a PC, PDA or mobile phone can now be done easily from anywhere in the office.

Tips Before You Upgrade to Windows Vista

5 Hardware Essentials for Installing Microsoft Windows Vista

Windows Vista works based on the capabilities of the hardware installed. Windows Vista Capable PCs and Windows Vista Premium Ready PCs both are geared for running Windows Vista but the experience varies with the "premium" delivering more advanced user experience.

Even if you are just considering installing Windows Vista in the far or near future when buying a new laptop or PC you must check the hardware configuration so that the computer is in actuality capable of running Windows Vista in all its glory.

According to Microsoft:

A Windows Capable PC must have: o An 800MZ modern processor.

  • o System memory of 512 MHZ.
  • o A graphics card that is DirectX 9 capable.
  • A Premium Ready PC must have: o 1 GHz with a x86 or x64 bits.

  • o 1GB memory card.
  • o 128 MB graphics memory which supports DirectX 9 graphics.
  • o 40GB hard drive with 15 GB free space.
  • o DVD ROM drive.
  • o Audio output.
  • o Internet access capability.
  • o TV tuner card specific for Windows Vista. o A TPM 1.2 chip or USB 2.0 key.
  • o Electromagnetic digitizer pen.

To completely experience Windows Vista features a computer must be state of art and have at least a 40GB hard drive and 15GB of free space. Most Pcs in use today have neither the memory or graphic processors that will run Windows Vista without a major overhaul. And according to Robert McLaws a Windows Vista tester, "Windows Aero is a great eye candy feature, but most families should not drop what they've got and get a fast new machine for it,"

Before you rush and spend money on upgrades you must consider what is important to you. In Vista useable features are enhanced security and easy of use. Features like Windows Aero are "wow" but do not add to everyday use unless you area computer connoisseur.

Tips:

  • Don't invest in PCs or laptops with integrated graphics cards. These use up a considerable amount of a PCs memory.
  • Desktops can be upgraded while notebooks cannot.
  • If your use of a computer is for gaming, editing or watching movies, or CAD then you must invest in a high powered graphics card as ell as additional memory.
  • Notebook owners must aim for a 2GB Ram and discrete graphics chip.

Microsoft is dedicated to preparing the world of PC users for Windows Vista and to this end they have set up a "Get Ready Site" at Windowsvista.com which provided in depth information to users about the OS. They also have an application for download on Windows XP PCs that will informer the owner what is required to become "Vista" ready. (Aaron Brooks)

Keyword Research

The very first step in the SEO process is to research which keywords and keyphrases you should be targeting. Your goal is to be ranked well for keywords / keyphrases that are highly targeted for your service, product, industry or offering. Optimizing your pages for keywords that are too general or unrelated to the subject of your site will only bring lots of unqualified traffic that does not convert well. Since you are paying for the bandwith, you want to maximize your ROI by targeting qualified traffic.

Company Name and Product Name Keywords

Generally, you do not need to optimize your site for your company name or product name(s). Unless your business / product names are composed of generic words (like Best Buy for example), your site will naturally attain the top rankings for those keywords. Most inbound links from external sites will reference your site / pages using your company name and/or product name(s) in the anchor text. Therefore, you can concentrate on keywords that people might use if they were searching for your type of service, product or offering.

Generating Good Keywords

Get some pencil and paper. Brainstorm for 20 minutes to an hour and jot down notes. Ask yourself, if I were looking for the type of offering my website advertises/sells, how would I search for it on the internet?

When you have a good list of keywords, you can use several on-line tools to search for related possibilities:

Evaluating Keyphrase Suitability

You should now have a fairly large list of keyphrases that are good candidates for targeting with your site. The next step is to research the viability of each keyphrase. Some keyphrases are more competitive than others. When you are just starting out, it makes more sense to target the less competitive phrases to achieve some early success.

The first step in evaluating keyphrases is determining how popular they are. Some of the tools listed above provide statistics showing popularity metrics for keyphrases. While these may not translate into an exact science, they do offer a rough guage of the popularity of a keyphrase. You can also use a Google AdWords account to get traffic estimates for your keyphrases on Google without actually paying any money. If you do follow through and set up an account, you can get some actual data on the keyphrase traffic.

The next step is to determine the competitiveness of each keyphrase. While WordTracker offers a KEI analysis, it is better to do your own analysis manually. Go to Google, enter your proposed keyphrase and search. Check the top 10-20 results.

  1. Do they contain the exact keyphrase in their title, description and page text?
  2. What is their PR?
  3. How many backlinks do they have?

If the listings do not contain the exact keyphrase (not just the keywords used in phrase), have low PR and/or few backlinks, then the chances are very good that you can obtain a top 10-20 listing fairly quickly for that keyphrase.

On Page Optimizations

Before we dig into on page optimizations, we need to consider how the major search engines index pages. Major search engines use spiders (also called robots) to crawl (trace) the web and find pages by following links just like a human browser might. However, there are technical limitations to what spiders can do. Your site's architecture can make a huge difference in a spider's ability to read and index your pages.

An in-depth dissertation on site architecture is beyond the scope of this tutorial. However, if your site employs:

  • Mostly Flash content
  • Mostly graphic content
  • Dynamically rendered pages (PHP, ASP, etc.) with session IDs
  • Frames
  • Javascript menus

You need to investigate the potential problems spiders are going to have indexing your pages before the following SEO tutorial will be effective. A quick check on the Lynx Viewer will let you see your web site much like the search engine spiders do. Can they see your content and (navigation) links?

SEO lends itself to tunnel vision among the newcomers to the field. The gratification of seeing your pages rising in search engine results for your keyhrases can be addictive. Always keep your visitor in mind when performing your search engine optimizations. Achieving high rankings (and traffic) will only result in higher bandwidth bills if your site does not convert traffic to sales (whether direct or indirect). Never compromise the useability and copy of your site in favor of SEO - avoid SEO tunnel vision. Your conversions/ROI will likely suffer.

Title Tag

Google and most search engines place a lot of emphasis on the title tag for each page. Title tags should include the one or two keyphrases that you will be targeting with that page. The closer the keyphrase is to the beginning of the title, the more weight it carries. Thus keyphrase one, keyphrase two - business name will be more effective than business name - keyphrase one, keyphrase two.

It is a good idea to limit the number of keyphrases you target with any given page to two (three at the very most) per page. Trying to target more keyphrases results in diluted results for all phrases. It is better to add more pages to your site and target additional terms with additional pages and copy. Search engines will index all of your pages, so do not limit yourself to trying to optimize just your home (index) page.

(Meta) Description Tag

Most search engines ignore the description tag as far as keyword relevancy is concerned. It doesn't hurt to work your keywords into the description tag, but if you include the description tag, write it to entice visitors to come to your page. Most search engines use the Description tag to some extent when displaying search results. This is your chance to differentiate your site from all the other results in a search.

(Meta) Keyword Tag

Most search engines completely ignore the keyword tag. Years ago, this tag was used by the search engines for determining relevancy, but it was abused. If you include a keyword tag, keep it short. There is not much point in listing anything other than the keyphrases you have included in the title tag.

Copy

The single most important part of your on-page SEO effort is to ensure that your keyphrases are used within the copy (text) of your page. The keyphrases should be repeated as much as possible without compromising the text. Forcing the phrases into the text in choppy, stilted sentences may impress the search engines, but it will not impress your human visitors. It is counterproductive.

Keyphrases may (and should) be used in:

  • heading tags - Use h1, h2, h3, etc. tags to structure the main points on your pages. Use your keyphrases where appropriate.
  • main page text - Write about your subject matter. Use your keyphrases where appropriate.
  • strong, bold or italics tags - Use around your keyphrases where emphasis is warranted.
  • image alt tags - Each image on your page should have an alt tag for visitors with:
    • text only browsers
    • graphics turned off (dial-up connections, overseas connections, etc.)
    • handicapped browsers (with text-to-speech for the sight impaired)
Your alt tag should describe the image using your keyphrases where appropriate.
  • filenames - choosing keyword or keyphrase rich folder/directory and file names gives you another avenue for introducing your keywords/keyphrases in your internal site links. Use hyphens (dashes) to separate words in keyphrases. Search engines parse hyphens as spaces.

Be sure not to abuse image alt tags or heading tags with keyword stuffing. Search engines may penalize your site for that.

Off Page Optimizations

Off page optimizations consist entirely of link building strategies. Because it entails third parties, you will often be limited in how much control you can exert. However, knowing what the search engines are looking for can assist you to optimize those opportunities where you do have control.

Search engines evaluate pages that link to yours for relevance. Having a link from a page discussing widget training services will be more helpful to a widget storefront than a link from "Joe Bob's Land of a Million Free Links". In addition to relevance that search engines will appreciate, links from topically related sites can and will drive traffic to your site in their own right.

General Advice for Maximizing the Value of Links

Every link is a good link, but some links are better than others. When soliciting links from link partners, directories or other venues, you should keep the following in mind:

  • Always link to your home page using your domain name root. Do not link to the page name of the default home page. For example, all home page links on this site link to http://www.e-freshware.com/ and not http://www.e-freshware.com/index.html. Of course, the filename should be included when linking to pages other than the home page.
  • Maintain consistency in using the www. prefix in the URL. Search engines treat http://e-freshware.com/ and http://www.e-freshware.com/ as two different sites.
  • Use your keywords/keyphrases as/in the anchor text for all links whenever appropriate. You usually do not have much control over 3rd party links to your site, but you can control the anchor text for all links within your site and from any 3rd party links that you can define/edit.

Link Building Campaigns

With a new site, it can be helpful to engage in a link building campaign to get your site some immediate exposure. As your site matures and develops more content, you will find that other sites will start linking to it without solicitations.

There are several avenues you can pursue to expand your link building campaign:

  • free directories - Crawling search engines use these human edited directories to find (and categorize) websites. Be sure you get listings for all directories that are applicable:
    • DMOZ - largest free directory. Used by Google to power the Google directory. It can take a long time (months in some cases) for an application to be processed, so patience is golden when applying to DMOZ.
    • WebSavvy
    • JoeAnt - You must apply to become an editor if you do not want to pay for inclusion.
    • Gimpsy - Only accepts sites that offer some interactive features. Be sure to check their guidelines before applying.
    • Zeal - Only accepts non-commercial sites.
When applying to these directories, comply with their instructions and make it as easy as possible for their editors to approve your submission(s). Consider becoming an editor for some directories and you might get the ability to fast-track your own submissions.
  • themed portals - Look for magazines, discussion forums, targeted vertical directories, etc. that pertain to your niche. Request listings where appropriate.
  • press releases / articles - Many websites will be happy to publish a press release or content article and include a link back to your site.
  • industry organizations - Many non-profit organizations offer directories of their membership with links to their websites. Join as many as make sense for your venture.
  • participate in discussion forums - Many internet discussion forums allow hyperlinks in "signature files". Participate in discussions and offer advice and wisdom. Do not spam forums with blatant advertising. This will reflect poorly on you as well as possibly get you banned from the forum.
  • set up a search engine friendly affiliate program - offer commissions on sales of your product(s) for others to advertise your wares and link to your site.
  • RSS news feeds - publish company news though RSS syndication. Other websites pick up the RSS feed and publish your news story (which can include a link back to your site, of course).
  • paid advertising - There are many directories (like Yahoo), portals and websites that offer paid advertising options from text links to banners.

Reciprocal Links

You can use the search engines to find websites that might link to you. Search on your keywords and your competitors' backlinks to find sites that link out to websites in your industry. Visit those sites and try to determine the owner's name (or a manager as appropriate). Send them a personalized e-mail introducing them to your site. Request consideration for a listing on their links page (and include the URL for that page) where your website would be of value to their audience.

Many owners/managers/webmasters will be happy to link to your site if it is germane, quality and useful to their audience. Some might request reciprocation. If their site is useful for visitors to your site, you should consider reciprocating. We do not recommend trading links with websites that have no topical connection to your site. It looks unprofessional and some search engines may be starting to penalize sites for it.

When you solicit a link from another site, be sure to format your requested link to conform to the format published on the target link page. Be sure to use your keyphrases whenever descriptions are published next to links.

As you generate backlinks with keyword rich anchor text or from related authority sites, you will be maximizing your off page optimizations.

Search Engine Optimization Tutorial

Are you thinking about undertaking your own SEO improvements? This tutorial will get you started. This tutorial was written with the Google search engine in mind, but the techniques described work equally well for any search engine.

Search engines contain billions of HTML pages in their database(s). When a user performs a search, the search engine must not only filter a set of pages that are relevant to the query, but also rank (order) them from best to worst. Since it is impractical for search engines to use human reviews for the sheer volume of the databases, they rely on programmed algorithms to analyze and rank pages.

There are two categories of criteria that search engines use to rank pages:

  • On Page Factors - Analysis of the HTML source code for a page
  • Off Page Factors - Analysis of inbound links and the pages they link from

Each search engine weights factors differently, but the fact remains that they all have a limited criteria to choose from. By optimizing your site for one search engine, you will to a large degree optimize it for all of them.

SEO Tutorial Outline

Google has claimed that they incorporate over 99 factors in their ranking algorithm. There is a wealth of detailed analysis, opinions and conjecture available on the internet that attempts to reverse engineer the "secret formula" and qualify the relative importance of every possible factor. Unless your website is competing in an ultra-competitive industry, this level of analysis and detail is not necessary. Especially considering that Google or any other search engine can easily tweak their ranking formulas at any time.

The following SEO tutorial subscribes to the 80/20 rule (yielding 80% of the possible results with just 20% of the possible effort). The basic SEO process can be summarized with the following outline:

Gateway P-171XL's High End Gaming Laptops

Image
Gateway P-171XL's includes Nvidia's GeForce Go 8800 GTS 512MB graphics and a 2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo for $1,599. The high-end P-171XLFX we tested had a RAID 0 array, a Core 2 Duo X7900, 3GB of RAM, the 8800 GTS, and an HD DVD drive for one penny under $3,000.

P-171XL's Features:

  • Intel Core 2 Duo X7900 dual core CPU. This mobile "extreme" edition processor ships at 2.80GHz, but Gateway's BIOS allows you to clock it up to 3.0GHz.
  • A 17-inch, 1920x1200 display with anti-reflective coating. (The lowest end, sub-$1,600 unit ships with a 17-inch, 1440x900 resolution display.)
  • A full size keyboard, including numeric keypad. The keyboard feels crisp and offers good tactile feedback. There is a function key, because cramming a full size keyboard into a laptop package meant that some of the keys have overloaded functionality—using PrtScn, for example, requires also pressing the Fn key.
  • All the outputs you could want: VGA out, HDMI 1.2 out for digital displays, an eSATA port, stereo line out and microphone input, Ethernet and modem, plus three USB 2.0 connectors.
  • A Toshiba HD DVD ROM drive that can burn CDs and DVDs.
  • Touch sensitive controls for the optical drive or media players that glow orange when the system is fired up. The volume control is also a touch slider.
  • 5-in-1 media card reader, including SDHC support. Alas, no compact flash reader for higher end digital SLR support.
  • Integrated 1.3 megapixel webcam with built-in microphone.

HP Pavilion dv2699 Special Edition Notebook

HP Pavilion Dv2699. At its heart is an Intel Core 2 Duo T7500, which runs at a brisk 2.2GHz with 4MB L2 Cache and an 800MHz Front Side Bus. This is a very able processor and though one might be cautious with new 45nm Penryn CPUs around the corner, this will still be more than capable a year or more down of the line. For support there's the now obligatory 2GB 667MHz DDR2 RAM, configured in dual-channel mode using two 1GB modules. You also get a capacious 250GB 5400rpm SATA HDD, while graphics are provided by an admittedly superfluous 64MB nVidia 8400M GS. We wouldn't expect a machine of this type to be gaming capable and it certainly isn't, but if anything it seems unnecessary to bother with discrete graphics at all since Intel's X3100 integrated graphics are more than capable when it comes to video processing. That said, nVidia's Pure Video suite will give a slight edge when it comes to HD playback, so maybe the inclusion of the 8400 GS isn't as frivolous as it first seems.

Sony VAIO VGN-NR21Z/T Notebook Review

Image
The Stylish NR-Series VAIO notebook featuring 15.4" X-black display, 250GB HDD, 2.10GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor, 3GB SDRAM and Windows Vista Home Premium Edition. Sleek? Yes. Good looking? Yes. Desirable? Yes. Cheap? Not so much. Hold on, though, because it does in fact have a value line of notebooks, the NR Series, which starts at just under £500 and ends at the top-end with an SRP of £700. It's the higher end of this range we're looking at today, in the shape of the Sony VAIO VGN-NR21Z/T.

Asus U2E-1P057E 11.1in SSD Ultra-Portable Notebook

Image
ASUS U2E-1P057E with 4GB of RAM and a 32GB Solid State Drive, its £1,300 to £1,400 asking price is a very competitive one when you consider that a similarly priced Sony TZ Series notebook comes with only 2GB of RAM and a standard 4200rpm 120GB hard drive.
First impressions are certainly favourable. Though it perhaps lacks the initial wow factor of the Sony TZ, it's a tough comparison and the U2E is no ugly duckling. As with the U1F and some other Asus notebooks, the U2E is furnished to a large degree in leather, both on the outside and inside. This model is the ‘Mocha Brown' edition and both the colour and feel of the leather finish certainly gives the U2E the "deluxe" feel Asus is after. Likewise, the brushed metal edges and touchpad combine to create a very cohesive and classy look - anyone would be proud to own.

Asus Notebook G70 Review

Image
There are those who want laptops which are just ordinary black slabs that won’t grab attention, then there are those who want custom paint jobs and decals. Finally there’s the camp that wants something which is different by design, something that’s truly striking and good looking. It’s to those people that the Asus G70 is probably going to appeal.

The screen is only 1,440x900 - far less than the 1,680x1050 minimum, or even 1920x1200 we were expecting. In fact Asus includes a sticker on the casing which claims "Full 1080p HD" that's obviously complete codswollop. The graphics cards aren't even G92 cored, they are 8700M which was high-end 18 month ago, and even then wasn't considered fast. The hard drive space is smaller (there are only the pair, not three) – in fact, everything pales in comparison next to the Kobalt.

There are advantages though. The screen has a smaller native resolution than the Kobalt, which should prove to be less demanding on the hardware, so the scaled down rig shouldn’t matter so much and you’ll be able to up the ante graphics-wise to compensate. Surprisingly Asus compensate for the core hardware by including Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11n wireless and even a DVDRW Lightscribe and BD-RE drive combo! The Asus G70 is also considerably cheaper than the forbiddingly expensive Kobalt.

Asus G70 Specification:

  • CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo T9500 (2.6GHz)
  • Memory: 4096MB (2048x2) DDRII 667
  • Graphics card: 2x Nvidia GeForce 8700M GT DDR3 512MB in SLI
  • HDD: 640GB (320GB x2, 5400rpm)
  • Operating System: Windows Vista Home Premium
  • Disc Drive: DVD Super-Multi Light Scribe/ Blu-Ray Reader/ Blu-Ray RW
  • Network Connectivity: 10/100/1000, 802.11a/b/g/n, Bluetooth V2.0+EDR
  • Screen: 17" TFT WUXGA, Colour-Shine, 1,440 x 900 native res
  • Weight: 4.9kg with battery
  • Extras: Two year global warranty, Asus branded Razer Copperhead mouse, super-cool Asus rucksac

Chronograph Atomic Time Clock

Chronograph Atomic Time Clock

Image
Chronograph keeps your computer's clock accurate using atomic time servers.

Chronograph is a simple utility that synchronizes your computer’s internal clock to the atomic time. Standard internal clocks are usually very incorrect, and need frequent manual corrections. Chronograph automatically maintains correct time using atomic clock servers of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).

The program is extremely helpful for every computer user. It is a must have for professionals who need correct time permanently (e.g. stock traders). Chronograph provides a high degree of accuracy – the difference between local computer time and actual time after correction will rarely exceed 0.5 seconds. This slight difference is caused by an unavoidable network transmission delay.

Main features:
  • Manual, periodical and wait-for-connection operating modes.
  • High stability. Program automatically connects to another server when the current server is down.
  • Ease of use. After the initial setting, which takes about one minute, the programs works automatically in background and doesn’t require any user attention.

Jangan Pernah Menjilat Sampul Surat Anda

“Seorang wanita sedang bekerja di sebuah pejabat pos di California.
Beliau

Kesimpulannya terdapat telur lipas padapelekat sampul suratyang
dijilatnya.

Majikan
tidak
membenarkan pekerjanya menjilat sampul surat.
Saya tidak pernah faham mengapa.

“Satu hari apabila saya menarik satu palet sampul surat sebanyak 2500
kotak.
Saya melihat beberapa ekor lipas
sedang
menikmati gam pada sampul-sampul surat tersebut!”"

Panduan Membangun Downline PTC

1. Being known or become popular
2. Become reputable
3. Recommend, not promote
4. Entertain your downline

Being known or become popular

So, be careful!
Recommend, not promote

* Artikel promosi ditulis berdasarkan pengetahuan penulis, sedang artikel rekomendasi ditulis berdasarkan pengalaman penulis.

Jadi, mulailah merekomendasi, bukan mempromosikan.
Entertain your downline

selain lewat toko biasanya para carder bekerja arena lelang barang (auction), yaitu menipu lewat orang perorangan, sehingga barang bukti akan semakin sedikit,

- Mr. A dapat 1 HP

negara yang terlibat :
- Amerika
- Australia
- Indonesia
- Cina
